that is all I get from the web site. does that mean that you have to get 1000 hours done in one year and you need 1000 each year to keep the “non trainee” certification or does this imply that the “trainee” status lasts for years. Also, do you think experience as a new home sales person with no certifications whatsoever can count towards the hours?
It is per year, and no, sales will not count. You have to be under the supervision of a licensed appraiser, doing appraisal work, for the hours to count.
